Impressive Big Cat; later XJ6 auto gearbox fitted; runner and driver to use and improve; impress the neighbours

This stylish MkIX comes to us following a four-year period of storage and very recent recommissioning.

The car was in long-term ownership from 1996 until 2014 and appears to have one only one keeper prior to that according to the V5C on file. When the owner passed away, it was purchased by a friend of the deceased after probate had been granted. He used it for a few years before tucking it away until just a few months ago.

Now, with a careful recommissioning of the brakes both front and rear, it has been making some short local trips. The vendor advises us that is had been updated with a later auto-box from an XJ6 at some point. There are a few areas which could be improved with some cosmetic attention, but it could be used as is and improved as time and funds allow.
