2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

A proper Modern Classic; five owners and just 75,239 miles on this 2.5 turbocharged boxer-four; adj. centre diff

Supplied new as a UK market car in March 2006 by Donnelly Subaru of County Antrim this 'Hawk-eye' WRX STi is finished in the classic colour scheme of Mica Blue with gold alloy wheels and has covered 75,239 miles from new. It has been in our vendor's hands since December 2016, since when he has thoroughly enjoyed owning this impressively rapid machine.

The history file includes the V5C and owner's pack with service book showing some 12 stamps, the last dated August 2019 at 72,439 miles by Paul Caswell Cars of Atcham who have looked after the car annually for the last 3 years.  A look at the service book shows the car lived in Ireland certainly until 2015/16 with all prior service work undertaken there including replacement clutch at 58,000 miles and two Cosworth Steel headgaskets and timing belt.  More recently in Sept 2017 we see a coolant change as well as diff and gearbox oil change then in August 2018 the undertrays and sideskirts were removed for waxoil protection.

The car sits well on its superb 7-spoke gold alloy wheels, with orange Brembo calipers ready to haul this all-wheel drive, 2.5 litre turbocharged, intercooled flat-four Boxer to heel, ready to unleash its 280bhp (officially in Japan they were all 280bhp, but in fact they were usually considerably more!) through six-speed manual transmission with DCCD - Driver Controlled Centre Diff - with automatic open mode.

The car comes in what looks like stock spec bar the additional high level rear spoiler, bigger bore exhaust and boost gauge pod and comes with both keys and current MOT running until January 2021 with no advisories recorded. Attracting much attention since it arrived on site, this quick and grippy saloon is very cool indeed.
