Later 350 with factory hard top in nice usable order following recent restorative work and showing under 104,000 miles

Dating from October 1978 this later model 350SL features the 197bhp 3.5 V8 with Bosch K-jetronic fuel injection and is driven through 3-speed automatic transmission. This nice example was imported and originally blue, being colour changed in 2010 to this cheerful hue of orange/red we see here with factory hard top and soft top residing underneath.

The interior has evidently been refreshed with cream MB Tex leatherette fitted piped blue, optional rear seats, matching cream carpets, wood veneer dash and caramel dash top. The car shows 103,762 miles which is nothing for one of these lazy old V8's and comes with a file of history.

It's history file includes V5C, hard top keys, Mercedes magazine and a few invoices including a rear light lens from SL Shop at £299 in October this year and detail from the last selling dealer (Monmouth Used Cars) of work undertaken to the car including full respray, refurbished 14" Mexican hat alloy wheels, re-coloured interior, new boot carpet, new windscreen, new sill covers, new heater blower motor, repaired vacuum system on central locking, new cam shaft and follower, service, new alternator and brake calliper dated September 2019.
