1971 MGB GT
No Reserve
Running and
driving example to use and improve; current MOT; driven 50 miles to the
sale
This 1971 MkII BGT looks the perfect use and improve example.
Clearly showing some body deterioration in the usual MGB places, it nevertheless
carries a recent MOT which expires in November 2022 showing just two advisories
- one for general age-related corrosion underneath/covered in underseal and one
for a minor oil leak.
The car was driven over 50 miles to the sale and
has always performed well since acquisition by the owner. He had intended to get
to grips with the car, but has decided he has too many and will never get around
to it (we have all experienced that).
The interior of the car is clean
and tidy and it hasn't had the Webasto treatment which will endear the car to
some. Painted in vivid yellow, it looks the part and could be brought up to
scratch with relative ease.
For someone looking for a budget classic,
this entry-level BGT has a lot going for it. With a parts availability like
few others, the classic MG is easy to own, cheap to insure and fun to
drive...

- Put in your highest bid you would be prepared to go to.
- Bidding at the last moment may leave you disappointed. Any earlier bid is always taken first, so doing this may only push someone else up and prevent you from becoming the highest bidder.
