1992 Mini Cooper 1.3i (MkVI)
Tidy example with fuel injected 1275cc A-series engine showing just 26,973 miles; fun and usable investment
Supplied new by Marshall (St.Neotts) Ltd of Cambridge in April 1992 this cool little Mini Cooper hails from the Rover era and is finished in bright red, sat upon its original 12” Minilite alloy wheels with white bonnet stripes and spot lights.
Under the bonnet, we find the familiar 1275cc fuel-injected four-cylinder A-series engine driving the front wheels via four-speed manual transmission.
Inside, we find half vinyl and black cloth seats with red piping and matching red carpets with black door cards, again piped red and black dash.
The car shows just 26,973 miles which have been covered by five former keepers plus the current of 15 years. The history file includes the V5C, old V5C, owner’s pack and service book recording three stamps, with two by the supplying dealer and the last, dated April 1995 by Scorpio Motors at 4,850 miles.
We also find eight old MOTs, the current MOT valid until September 2023 recording no advisories and a few old bills for parts and maintenance.
Ready to be enjoyed, this MkVI Mini presents well with but a few minor cosmetic bits that could be improved if you’re fussy but with low miles like this, we doubt it will hang around for long.
